Founder of Viking Club

Here is a short profile of the Founder of “The VIKING CLUB” in Budapest JAN MOSETHER Norwegian, born 1962 Bachelor of Marketing, from Norwegian school of Marketing (NMH), Oslo, Norway, 1988.

In 2001, Mr. Mosether joined an International Executive Search Group as a Senior Consultant with responsibility to increase the awareness and sales of the group as an International Executive Search partner for the Scandinavian business community in Hungary. In early 2002, Mr. Mosether was named Regional Consultant Central Europe with the same responsibility as before, but now for the whole Central Europe.

In his role as Executive Search Consultant, Mr. Mosether has overseen and conducted several high-level searches in Central Eastern Europe. Main sectors: General Management, HR, Legal, Marketing, PR/Advertising and Sales positions for FMCG, Manufacturing, Energy and ”blue chip” companies. Covering the following countries: Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania with cross-border activities in neighbouring countries.

In June 2004, Mr. Mosether established himself as an independent consultant with focus on Business Development and HR consulting in the CEE region. Objectives are to establish a broad network in the region that will increase the awareness of synergy effects in Business Co-operation's between local and Scandinavian businesses. 

Other achievements: Created a network in CEE consisting of approximately 600 people.

Founder and organiser of the Viking Club which started it’s activity in 2001. Viking Club is a business club originally for Scandinavian business people living in Hungary. Later it has developed to be an international club/event with more than 500 “members”.

Previous experience from Norway is related to recruitment and HR management which he did for 10 years before moving to Hungary.
